I hadn't thought about the trees releasing their leaves to make way for the new before. However, that's exactly why they do. We can't make way for the new things in our lives if we are holding on to some dead things that are not doing us any good.

Our Bible verse says, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?" Isaiah 43:19

Something new is starting! We need to open our eyes to see it. Fall is a great time to release the old to make way for the new.
