To rest in peace in the midst of the storm we have to choose to make peace a priority. It can start by practicing to pause before judging, assuming, accusing, etc.
Our Bible verse talks about rest. "For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world." Hebrews 4:10
When we enter into God's rest we can live our lives in peace. We can pause before judging, assuming or accusing. We know our God is in control.
