Not Enough

We may know a lot of things that would make our lives better, but if we don't apply what we know it won't do us any good.

Our Bible verse says, "Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice." James 1:22 GNT

I believe the Bible is our instruction book given to us by our Creator. When we put what it says into practice we can have a great life right here on earth.

The Bible instructs us not to worry, not to be afraid, not to judge. It tells us to forgive, to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Most of us know by putting these into practice they would make our lives better. We may wish they were true in our lives. Wishing is not enough; we need to do them.

Knowing is not enough; we need to apply. Wishing is not enough; we need to do. We deceive ourselves when we don't put what the word says into practice.
