Yesterday I went to the funeral of a friend. Doug was known for his kindness and his smile. What a wonderful way to remember a person. Interesting enough is that when Doug passed on he had a smile on his face. What a way to go!
I found this Bible verse that's actually talking about living, but I believe it speaks to dying as well. "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." Isaiah 55:12
No matter if we are living or dying how wonderful to go out in joy and peace. Let's be kind and smile for we are here in this world for just a little while.
