Yesterday we drove home from Ohio. When we started out it was in the 50's and sunny. As we drove towards Michigan the weather began to change.
At one point the wind began to really blow. Our car was being pushed around on the road. We looked towards the sky thinking we might be running into a tornado. It was pitch black! But we kept moving. Then the rain began to pour. We kept moving. I could see the temperature was falling fast. Next, it began to sleet, hail, and even some spitting snow. We kept moving. Finally, we arrived home. The roads were wet, but the temperature started to climb back up and the rain stopped.
How much of our life is like this? There are sunny days that can quickly turn to rain, hail, sleet, and snow. The winds can blow so hard we think we might be in a tornado.
What should we do? Just keep moving forward and the weather will change.
