There is a lot written about the harmful effects of unforgiveness. One quote puts it this way. "Unforgiveness is like taking poison, but expecting someone else to die."
The Bible has plenty to say about forgiveness. Today's verse says "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32
If we think about all that God has forgiven us for we will forgive others. Holding a grudge makes us bitter. Forgiveness sets us free!
