Today is National Day of Prayer. This year the theme is to Pray For America's Unity.
The Bible verse selected for this day is "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:3 NIV
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy peace...Galatians 5:22. As we make every effort to live in the unity of the Spirit we will sow love where there is hatred.
Lord, make me an instrument of peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Francis of Assisi
