I heard a story about a woman who was afraid of many things. She let her anxiety control her to the point she wouldn't leave her home. After listening to "I'm afraid of doing..." Her friend asked, "Why don't you just do it afraid?"
As this woman started to slowly get out of her comfort zone and do things afraid she was set free. We are not here to live in anxiety and fear.
Our Bible verses say, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1
God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us power, love and a sound mind. We have to stand firm to be free! Sometimes we may need to do something we're afraid of doing to be free.
