Having to wait can sure steal our enjoyment in life. Being stuck in traffic, being in a slow line at the store, waiting for results from a test, or any number of other things. We do not like to wait and it can steal our enjoyment in life!
Our Bible text today says, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]." John 10:10 AMP Bible
Wow, this is one of my favorite verses. It says we can have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full till it overflows. This verse makes it clear we can make a decision to enjoy our life even if we have to wait.
