We all have a relationship with ourselves. No matter where we go or what we do, there we are. We can't get away from ourselves. The question is, What kind of relationship do we have and how does it affect others?
Our Bible verses say, "The most important commandment is this: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." Mark 12: 29-31
According to this verse loving our neighbor as yourself is equally as important as loving God. Let's be careful how we talk to ourselves because our relationship with ourselves sets the tone for every other relationship we have.
