It's easy at this time of the year to think about the things we want. People ask, "What do you want?" Children have a long list of what they want. Adults, not so much. It's nice to have new things but we should not forget what we already have and be thankful.
Our Bible verse says, Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 118:1
At Christmas time and all through the year let's remember to never let the things we want make us forget the things we have.
