When we are going through a difficult time it's easy, and I think even natural, to focus on our troubles. It will take effort on our part, but we must do it if we want to see the light.
Our Bible verses today say, Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:6-8
In our darkest moments, we tend to worry. But when we talk to God He will put His peace in our hearts. As we fix our thoughts on things that are excellent and worthy of praise we are doing our part to focus on the light.
