Giving thanks opens our eyes to the many blessings we may take for granted.
We may not think of enjoying eating until we need a feeding tube. What about walking without pain? Ask someone who needs a hip or knee replacement. Hearing, seeing and breathing are things we take for granted until we can't hear, see or need help with breathing. Lastly, what about love? God's love endures forever.
Our Bible verse today says, "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good His love endures forever." Psalm 107:1
Life is full of give and take. We need to remember to give thanks and take nothing for granted.
