If you wonder why you should rejoice, read the Bible. It repeatedly says to rejoice always, and again, I say rejoice!

Yesterday, I heard a message about depression and how rejoicing can lift a person's spirits. There is something about rejoicing that heals not only our bodies but also our emotions.

The Scripture tells us to put on "the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness" (Isaiah 61:3).

When you feel heaviness trying to overtake you, let go of self-pity and thank God for what He's already done in your life.

God's will for you is to rejoice always.
