God has a plan for each of our lives. It may not be anything you ever thought you would do. But to work His plan, we need to step out in faith.

God does have a plan for us. His plans are good for giving us a future and hope. Let's step out in faith and work the plans God has for our lives.

I don't know how many people know that they have God's power enabling them to accomplish God's purposes in their lives. God has a wonderful plan for our lives, and He gives us His power to accomplish His plans.

We have the same power inside of us! It's hard to believe! We can do whatever God wants us to do using His power!

My Determined Purpose

Who Needs Help?

For a lot of my life, I didn't think I needed God. In fact, God never even entered my mind. I felt I had enough strength on my own to get through life. Until Todd died!

Funny now, as I look back, I was a mess. However, I didn't realize how arrogant and foolish I was. I couldn't have taken a breath without God.

The day I cried out to God, "Help me, Lord!" changed my entire life.

When we know we need help, we can tell God what we need and stop worrying. Hopefully, we remember to thank Him for all He has done.

What Are You Wearing?

It's important what we choose to wear. Our clothes don't just jump on us. We also need to choose what attitudes we wear. Bitterness, anger, jealousy, rudeness, and hatred don't look good on us. We need to be careful to look our best.

Our Bible verse says. Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:12 & 14

There we have it. We must clothe ourselves with all these great virtues, but above all, we must clothe ourselves with love.

God's Strength

If we really believed that God's strength was greater than our weakness, I bet we would rely on Him more. Sometimes we think we can handle things on our own and don't need God's help. But we do need God's help even when we don't think we do.

Yesterday I heard a girl talking about how she didn't know who her biological parents were. She had been left at a railroad station without even being given a name. It was a sad story, but I thought if she only knew that God was her father, this would make a huge difference in her life.

Yesterday, Bill and I attended a memorial gathering hosted by our longtime friend. It had been 59 years since Bill had seen Penney. It was wonderful to see her. I was able to give her a big hug. It had been a very long time since we had seen each other.

I love making new friends, and I have all along my life's journey. Every one of them has been very special to me. I cherish my old friends too. It made my heart happy to see Penney again.

We can always go to the LORD when we are tired and feel stressed by things we are going through. He will give us the rest we need.
