Our world is full of beautiful things. Creation in itself is awesome! If we look for beautiful things, we will find them. In the spring, we can see things that have been hidden, but really they were always there.

God has made everything beautiful for its own time. Going from winter to spring helps us to see this clearly. Let's look and see the beauty that is all around us each day.

Yesterday, Bill and I attended a memorial gathering hosted by our longtime friend. It had been 59 years since Bill had seen Penney. It was wonderful to see her. I was able to give her a big hug. It had been a very long time since we had seen each other.

I love making new friends, and I have all along my life's journey. Every one of them has been very special to me. I cherish my old friends too. It made my heart happy to see Penney again.

There's something about true friendship. It sure makes us feel good.

We need to train our minds to look for the good. If we don't, negative thoughts will come racing in. We have a choice in how we choose to think. The happiness of our life depends on the quality of our thoughts.

We need to set our minds on things above, which will be positive, like faith, hope, peace, and joy, not on things like worry, stress, etc.

I have found that prayer is the weapon! It's interesting to see what happens when we are going through something. Many times, we do not feel like praying. Why is this? Because prayer is the weapon that will help us. Don't let your thoughts or anyone discourage you.

Jesus knew we would face times when we feel like giving up, but He said to keep praying and never give up!

Be Kind To Yourself

I don't know about you, but I am pretty hard on myself. If I have a bad day, I struggle to be kind to myself. I like how this quote says to give yourself credit for everything you do right. Good advice!

We can always go to the LORD when we are tired and feel stressed by things we are going through. He will give us the rest we need.

This is so true. Thoughtless words can cut as deeply as a sword. But wise words can bring healing. Choose your words wisely.

I love this verse because it shows us that we can be troubled, but we are not crushed by it. We can doubt at times, but we are never in despair. We may have people who don't like us, but we always have a friend who is Jesus! Even if we are hurt at times, we are not destroyed by it.

We all go through different experiences in our lives. We may not like some of them, but each one can teach us something we need to know if we pay attention.

I've found that many things I've been through have helped me to be less judgmental. I think, "There by the grace of God go I." I've been able to see people with more compassion because of Todd's death. God has a divine plan for each one of us, and He will use our experiences to teach and guide us.

God will teach us and help us to understand many things on our journey. God always has His loving eye on us.

The Price Has Been Paid

We have so much to be thankful for on Good Friday. Jesus went to the cross and paid the price so that all of our sins are forgiven. We are saved by grace.

Our Bible verses say. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast". Ephesians 2: 8-9

We are saved by God's grace. He is giving us this free gift. We can't earn it by our works. All of our sins were forgiven on the cross.

When Jesus went to the cross, He paid the price for our sins to be forgiven.
