Our attitude determines our age. If we keep the right attitude, we know that age is just a number. We can set a new goal no matter our age.

God has a plan for every season we are in. We are never too old or too young to work the plan He has for our lives.

To work the plans God has for our lives, we need to let the Spirit renew our thoughts and attitudes!

I believe most of us know that God has a time and place for everything. We even know that His timing is perfect. However, it's often very hard to wait for God's perfect timing.

Behind The Scenes

Note to self. God is always working behind the scenes in my life. Even if He seems silent, He is still there working. I will not be anxious, worried, or afraid. ~ All Things Work Together For Good Quotes ~

When we keep in mind that God is always working behind the scenes in our lives to bring good out of everything we are going through, we do not need to feel anxious, worried, or afraid.

After going through Todd's death and watching God bring good out of the worst thing that could happen in my life, I am a firm believer in this. Even still, at times, I have to make a mental note of this.

Our Bible verse says. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT

We may know this, but we still need to remind ourselves at times. God will work everything out for our good. He has a purpose and a plan. Keep your trust in Him.

No Matter What

When we need to be renewed, rejuvenated, and refreshed, we can always go to God. It's wonderful to always keep this in mind. We are never alone.

What a great way to live. Seeking the LORD and His strength and living in His presence continually.

In God's presence, we are continually renewed, rejuvenated, and refreshed.

Overthinking

I wonder if some people are better at not overthinking than others? I tend to rehearse situations in my mind. I have to remind myself to drop it, leave it, let it go, and put it all in God's care. I say to myself, "God cares, and He is working on this right now!"

This is a great verse to remember. Don't overthink; give God all our cares and worries. Why? Because He cares for us.

I think it's important to have a day where we can stop and honor all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. Here in the USA, we take so much for granted. Today, we can stop and remember.

Jesus laid down His life for our eternal salvation. Our veterans have laid down their lives for the freedoms we have here in the USA.

Here's the verses. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. I can do all this through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4: 12&13

The secret to contentment is found in Christ, who gives us strength. When we learn to be content, then we will be happy.

I Know That Was You, Lord

I've had several surprises from God. Some people may call it "luck' but I call it a blessing from God.

Just this morning, I was busy getting things ready to go to the cemetery and put things on Todd and GM&GP Z's graves. I like to put the little red cardinal on the top of Todd's stone.

I colored the cardinal with a magic marker, but I couldn't find the putty to hold it to the stone. I looked everywhere. Finally, I prayed. I had the thought of looking in the basement for a box of junk. There the puddy was. I smiled and knew it was God.

Our Bible verse says. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3

I was filled with joy when I found that puddy. This may not seem great to most, but it was to me.

Sometimes I look up to Heaven, smile and say, "I know that was You, God. Thank You!

We're planning a get-together next week. I have a lot to get ready, but as long as I keep a joyful attitude, I have been able to enjoy the process. I've asked the Lord to help me remember what all I need to do and to also give me the energy to do it. So far so good.

Within Us

Our world needs a lot of things. Each one of us has something to offer. Sharing our faith is one of the best things we can give.

What we as Believers have is the Holy Spirit living in us. When we share our faith and all the blessings that His Spirit gives, we are giving something that the world needs.

Love Never Dies

No one knows this better than a mother whose child has died. You find out very quickly that life here on earth is temporary when your child dies. You also find out that your love for that child did not die. In fact, your love for them continues to grow.

Praise God that we have this verse to let us know that love never ends. I truly believe our loved ones who have passed on continue to love us just like we still love them.

Part Of The Story

We all face struggles on our journey in life. It's great to know that God is turning our pain into purpose and our struggles into testimonies.

Mother's Day Surprise

It was the day before Mother's Day a few years ago. I was sitting in my usual spot, spending alone time with the Lord. I looked up and noticed the little Mother's Day statue Todd had given me many years before. I had it on a shelf, along with other memories of days gone by. It was hard to believe it had been so many years since Todd had died in a car accident. It seemed like yesterday.

As I sat in my chair, lost in my memories, I thought, "It would sure be nice to receive something again from Todd on Mother's Day, Lord." I knew it was far-fetched to desire something like this, but I wasn't going to tell anyone, and I even thought, "This is between You and me, Lord."

I got up and went about my daily activities. I was out mowing when the thought came to me again. I smiled, wondering if I might be surprised.

Later that night, my husband, Bill, came in from being gone for a few days. He walked in with a rose. He handed it to me and said it was from Todd!

I was overwhelmed! Since Todd had died, no one had ever given me anything and said it was from Todd. I knew the Lord had heard and answered the "desires and secret petitions of my heart."

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Always

True Happiness

So you want to be happy? This verse makes it clear. Get your mind off yourself and make sure God is more important than you are. This is so true! God knows how to make our happiness complete.
