Jesus paid a tremendous price for us to have abundant life on earth and eternal life with Him in heaven. He willingly took all of our sins on the cross so we could be forgiven and be at peace with God. Jesus paid it all! Our part is to believe that what He did was enough!

Our Bible verse says. Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). Romans 5:1 AMP

If anyone asks you why you believe when you die, you'll be going to heaven, you can answer. Because I believe Jesus died for me and rose from the dead.
