Worried thoughts come to all of us. But, we don't need to believe everyone that falls into our heads.

Our Bible verse says. "I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." John 14:27

We have been given a gift of peace of mind and heart. So we need to accept that gift and not allow ourselves to be worried or afraid.

Yes, You Can!

We may think we can't do something. But yes, we can when we rely on God to give us the strength we need.

Our Bible verse says, "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13 NLT

Whatever Christ calls us to do, He will give us the strength to do it.

Either Way

We can thank the Lord for everything in our lives when we trust the Lord. The good are blessings, and the bad are lessons. Either way, we come out on top.

Our Bible verse says, "But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him." Jeremiah 17:7 NIV

We are blessed when we trust the LORD. When we are confident in Him, it doesn't matter what happens in our lives. We know He will use the good and the bad as blessings or lessons. Either way, we come out on top.

Thank you, Lord, for everything in my life. The good and the bad. Some were blessings, and some were lessons.

What About Today?

Too often, we use the phrase, "I'll be happy when..." What about today? Let's enjoy the little things that happen today. Looking back, it is usually some little thing that became a big happy memory in our lives.

Our Bible verse says, "This is the day which the LORD has made; Let's rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 NASB

Today is the day the LORD has given us. So let's enjoy today and be glad in it.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things.

You're Free To Choose

You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequence of your choice. ~ Free To Choose Quotes ~

People make choices, and we will pay the consequences depending on each choice. These consequences may be physical, mental, or eternal. Some of our options not only affect us but they have lasting results on our children.

Our Bible verse says I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life so that you and your descendants may live. Deuteronomy 30:19

This verse tells us we are free to choose, and our choices have consequences. I like how it says, "Choose life." Sounds like an excellent choice to me. This choice will not only be ideal for us but it will also affect our descendants.

You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequence of your choice.

The Best Pathway

As you study your Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit and live out its truths that God reveals to you, you will discover new stability, strength, and confidence. ~ How To Live Quotes ~

This is what happened to me. First, I bought myself a paperback GNT Bible. Then, I asked the Holy Spirit to teach me what I needed to know. As I studied, I learned new ways to think and live. Finally, I highlighted areas that stood out to me. It was terrific to find stability, strength, and confidence by putting what I learned into practice.

Our Bible verse says, "The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8 NLT

Yes, the LORD will guide us along the best pathway for our lives. It's wonderful to know the LORD is watching over us, and He gives us His word to teach us the best way to live.

No Ordinary Book

The Bible is no ordinary book. The words are like medicine for your soul, and it has the power to change your life.

Personally, I have found the Bible to be an instruction book to live the abundant life Jesus died to give us. It most certainly has changed my life and my way of thinking. The more I studied the book, the better I felt. I was surprised!

Our Bible verse says, "But Jesus answered, "The scripture says, 'Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but need every word that God speaks.'" Matthew 4:4 GNT

We all need food to live. But if we want to have the abundant life that Jesus' died to give us, we also need to study the Bible to have the power to live that life.
