Filled With Peace

It is amazing what happens when we put our trust in God. There is a peace that comes, and we now have inner joy.

Our Bible verse was one I highlighted many years ago. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him." Romans 15:13 NIV

When we put this verse is into practice, we'll be amazed at the joy and peace we can experience. God is our hope, and when we trust in Him, He fills us with joy and peace.

Relationship

When we live in a personal relationship with Christ, we relax and have peace even with trouble. This is because we know we are not alone, and our personal relationship with Christ gives us peace.

Our Bible verse says, The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you peace.” Exodus 33:14

When we live in a personal relationship with the LORD, we know He is always with us wherever we go. His presence gives us peace.

Peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ.

Get Up Again

We all have been through troubles in life. But we do not need to be defeated by them. We can get up and move forward.

I love the following Bible verses. We are often troubled, but not crushed; sometimes in doubt, but never in despair; and when we are knocked down, we get up again. There are many enemies, but we are never without a friend." 2 Corinthians 4:8 & 9

In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again. These words have given me hope no matter what is going on in my life.

Getting knocked down in life is a given. Getting up and moving forward is a choice.

Worry

I read there are 365 do not worry or fear Bible verses in the Bible. I believe it. I don't wonder why because I know why. We worry about so many things. The good LORD knows this, and He doesn't want us to lose our focus and strength.

Our Bible verses say, Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:25 & 26

If our heavenly Father takes care of the birds, why should we worry about our life? Our heavenly Father will take care of us too.

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its troubles. It empties today of its strength.

What God Starts

No matter how dark it looks or how long it's been, God will always finish what He started. God knows our life from start to finish. He has a plan and He will finish it.

Our Bible text says, I am sure that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

Many years ago my friend, Eugenia, gave me this Bible verse. I didn't know the verse at the time but I have kept it close to my heart ever since. I may have setbacks but I know God will finish what He's started in my life. He will in yours too.

Faith is about patience. God will finish what He started in you.

Staying In Peace

It's not easy to stay strong and calm in challenging times. From personal experience, I know how difficult times can steal my peace.

Our Bible verse says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!" Isaiah 26:23 NLT

When we put all of our trust in the LORD and keep our thoughts on Him, this verse says God will keep us in perfect peace.

You have to be strong and calm to overcome challenging moments.

Trust His Tender Care

We all go through circumstances that seem overwhelming and too much to bear. Yet, in these times, we can go to God for strength. When we know the Lord, we depend on and trust His tender care.

Our Bible verse says, Those who know You, LORD, will trust You; You are faithful to all who depend on You. Psalm 9:10

When we have a personal relationship with the LORD, we will trust Him. From our past experiences, we know He is faithful, and we can depend on Him.

When circumstances seem too much to bear, depend on the Lord for strength and trust His tender care.
