We may have something we would really like to do but we have doubts that we can do it. These doubts can kill the motivation to step out and even try.

I believe if the good Lord puts a dream in you that seems impossible you can do it.

Our Bible verse says, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13 BSB

Motivate yourself! Keep doubt out of your mind knowing Christ will give you the strength to do whatever you need to do.

Outward Things

Too often we depend on outward things to make us happy. Outward things have no ability to make us happy. It all depends on the way we see them.

Our Bible verse asks a question. "Then the LORD said to me, “Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?” Jeremiah 1:11

This is a good question for all of us. "What do you see?" Now place your own name there.

Happiness doesn't depend on outward things, but on the way we see them.

The Way You Look

We can look at things in many different ways. It all depends on the results you want to get.

A situation can look impossible. If you change the way you look at it the same situation can motivate you. For instance. I know people who have lost over 100 pounds. That may seem impossible but they saw it in a different way.

Our Bible verse says, "Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts." Proverbs 4:23 GNT

Our thinking has a lot to do with how our life is shaped.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Make New Memories

Quite honestly it doesn't take something big to make a good memory. It's usually something small that will stick in your mind and make you smile.

Every time we think of someone or something that has been a good memory we can give thanks to God; knowing we can make more good memories every day.

Hold On Tight And Believe

I've been through some big winds of change that almost blew me over and I know most of you have too. It's not easy to hang on tight and believe, but I know it's the best thing to do.

Our Bible verse says, "The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14 NLT

When you believe and stay calm when life brings big winds of change the LORD will fight for you. I truly believe He will help us and show us what we need to do.

What Do You See?

I've learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. ~ Life Quotes ~

I'm not sure how this happens but I believe it has to do in part with how we view life. Some people only look for the negative in life. They see the flaws in everything. While others also see the flaws but they try to see what good can come out of a negative situation.

Our Bible verse says, "If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you are looking for trouble, that is what you will get. Proverbs 11:27

Sometimes we have to search for the good in a situation. However, if we choose to look for the negative that is what we will see.

I've learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

For A Reason

I'm a people type person and I've met a lot of people. I have no doubt that each person I've met has crossed my path for a reason. Some people have been a real pleasure while others have been a lesson.

Our Bible verse says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

We may not understand why some people cross our path. But we can trust the Lord and know that they are not there by accident.

We don't meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason.
