Gifts Of Love And A Smile

I had never really thought about Christmas as allowing God to love and smile at others through us until I read today's quote.

Wow, what a great way to think about giving! Many times we think of giving as a gift that cost money. But there are many ways to give that do not cost money.

Today's quote tells us we can give love and a smile to everyone we meet this Christmas season. Our Bible verse says, Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8

Today and every day we can allow God to love and smile through us because love never fails. What wonderful gift to give!

Look For The Blessings

Some days are better some days are worse. Look for the blessing instead of the curse. Be positive, stay strong, and get enough rest. You can't do it all but you can do your best. ~ Life Quotes ~

Some days are better than others that is for sure. If we do look for the blessings we'll be positive and stay strong. We certainly can't do it all but we can do our best.

Our Bible verses today say, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

When we know that God will supply all our needs and every good and perfect gift comes from the Father, we can look for the blessings in each and every day.

Treasured Memories

I'm sure most of us have many treasured memories of someone we love who has passed on.

Last night my very dear friend, Bea, passed on. I sure have lots of treasured memories of her.

Today's Bible verse was a great comfort and eye-opener to me years ago when I found it. "Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8

I am confident that Bea has left her body is at home with the Lord.

I loved Bea and now she will be a treasured memory. Knowing she is at home with the Lord lets me know we'll see each other again.

New Hope

When we believe the Lord has plans for our welfare to give us a future and hope we can start each day with new hope for today and a better tomorrow.

Be The Best Version Of You!

We all have been given gifts and talents. Comparing ourselves to others will not help us be the best we can be. We are all unique.

Our Bible verse today says "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14 NIV

We are all unique with different gifts and talents. Let's thank the Lord that He made us in a wonderful way. Let's be the best we can be. I like this quote, "Be the best version of you!"

It's How You Live

It's interesting how people can go through the same life experience and react differently. People's motives for doing something may differ. Instead of looking for the good, they may see disaster around every corner. It's up to us how we choose to live our lives.

Our Bible verse today says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT

It's up to us how we choose to live our lives. We may not understand what's going on, but if we trust the Lord with all our hearts and seek His will, He will show us the path to take.

Loving Memories

Loving memories never die, as years roll on and days pass by. In our heart, a memory is kept, of ones we loved and will never forget.

Over the years our lives bring tears, smiles, and memories. The tears dry, the smiles may fade, but some of our best memories last forever.

Our Bible verse today says, Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Philippians 1:3 NLT

I believe a lot of our loving memories are with people. When these memories come to our minds we can thank God every time we think of them.
