We Don't Know

We have had quite a week. Last Saturday, we drove 3 hours to an outside birthday party. We had a fun time, and then I looked down and realized my 20+-year-old cross on my chain was missing. We looked all over, but we never found it. I felt pretty sad. We drove another 3 hours home.

Sunday morning, everything seemed perfectly normal. We usually do our yardwork on Sunday afternoon. I was downstairs when I heard Bill calling my name. I thought he was outside, but he was upstairs.

I ran upstairs, and Bill told me I needed to take him to the emergency room. He was admitted to the hospital. He's home now and doing well. But think how awful this emergency would have been if it had happened the day before.

Our Bible verse says. Don't brag about tomorrow because you don't know what the day will bring. Proverbs 27:1

This verse is a warning. We sure don't know what tomorrow will bring.
