Arise and Shine! ~ Inspirational Quotes ~

We cannot be passive if we ever want to do anything. We need to first arise and not be lackadaisical if we ever want to shine.

There's a 19-year-old girl named Mirra Andreeva who just won the French Open. I liked how she thanked other people who helped her along the way, but finished by saying, "Last but not least, I want to thank myself."

This girl had to rise up and find the courage not to give up when times get hard in order to shine! She recognized that she needed to thank herself, too, for not giving up.

Our Bible verse says. “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1 NIV

We need to do our part and arise, knowing that God's Spirit living in us will give us what we need to shine.
