Can It Be That Simple?

One day in my alone time with the LORD, I asked, "What do You want me to do?" I heard in my spirit, "Kay, you don't need to do anything. I've done everything for you. However, anything you do will be for your benefit." I remember thinking, "Can it be that simple?"

Later I came on this Bible verse, "The people asked Jesus, "What does God want us to do?" Jesus answered, "What God wants you to do is to believe in the one He sent." John 6:28&29 GNT

By this verse, I could see that I wasn't the only one who wanted to know what God wanted me to do. Jesus' answer says it all. Our work is to believe in His finished work on the cross. Therefore, any work we do is for our benefit. Can it be that simple? I do believe it really is that simple!
