Always Believe

When we believe that something wonderful is about to happen, we won't be discouraged when we don't see it right now. We can live with hope and expectation.

Our Bible verse says, "What would have become of me had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!" Psalm 27:13 AMP

We all know what becomes of people who live without hope. It's not a good way to live. However, when we believe that we are going to see the Lord's goodness we keep a good attitude.

Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.

Stretch

Sometimes we are stirred out of our comfort zones in order to stretch and cause us to use our faith. ~ Stretch Your Faith Quotes ~

It's important to stretch both physically and spiritually. The more we stretch the better we feel. In order to stretch our faith, it's imperative to keep in mind where our faith comes from.

Our Bible verse is one of my favorites. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 BSV

I have repeated this verse to myself many times when I need to stretch my faith. As we trust Christ to give us His strength when we are out of our comfort zones, it stretches our faith and gives confidence.

Sometimes we are stirred out of our comfort zones in order to stretch us to use our faith.

Remain Calm

One of the greatest lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm. ~ Keep Calm Quotes

I wish I could say that this is a lesson I have mastered, but I haven't. My personality isn't exactly the keep calm type. However, when I feel unsettled, I can calm myself down when I think about God and His promises.

Our Bible verse says, "Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10 NLT

Being still and knowing that God is in control helps us to remain calm. He says He will be honored throughout the world. Knowing this can help us stay calm.

One of the greatest lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm.

The Focus of Your Attention

The quality of your life is determined by the focus of your attention. ~ Fix Your Focus Quotes ~

How often do we go from putting our trust in God to worry and anxiety? We want God's peace and the awesome quality of life He gives, but we don't focus on Him and the things we should.

Our Bible verse says, "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise...And the God of peace will be with you." Philippians 4:8&9 NLT

It is so important what we focus on. If we fix our thoughts on the right things God will give us peace.

The quality of your life is determined by the focus of your attention.

He Does Know

Faith is about trusting God even when you don't understand His plan. ~ Trusting God Quotes ~

God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand, but we simply have to trust that He knows what He's doing.

Our Bible verse says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

It's okay if we don't understand. We don't know everything. What we do know is that we can put our trust in God, because He does know.

Faith is about trusting God even when you don't understand His plan.

What About You?

Many years ago, I picked up a bulletin at church. On the front of this bulletin was a picture of Jesus. Above the picture were the words. "Who do you say that I am?" I put this bulletin in a frame and I have it on my desk. This is a question we all have to answer.

Our Bible verse says, "What about you?" Jesus asked them. "Who do you say I am?" Matthew 16:15 GNT

What about you? Who do you say that He is? How you answer this question will shape your reality.

If You're Still Here

If you woke up this morning, God's not finished with you yet. ~ If You're Still Here Quotes ~

Yesterday I saw this quote. When I read it, I felt encouraged. Every day when I wake up, I know God has something for me to do.

Today's Bible verse says, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10 NIV

Just think, God, created us for a purpose. He has good works for us to do that He's prepared in advance.
