To dress for success in life, it's important the attitude we put on. We can take every ordinary day and place it before God. We can ask Him to renew our minds, so we will choose what is best.

Our Bible verse says, "So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it. Colossians 3:12-14 MSG

We Forget

We've all felt overwhelmed at times. When we do, that's the time to remind ourselves how big God is.

Our Bible verse says, "So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD!" Psalm 31:24 NLT

When we put our hope in the LORD, we can be strong and courageous. The LORD will give us the strength and courage we need.

Sometimes when we get overwhelmed, we forget how big God is.

Determination & Satisfaction

At this time of the year, people can start to feel stressed. If we are determined to get things done, we'll have a feeling of satisfaction when we go to bed.

Our Bible verse says, "Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. Galatians 6:4 NLT

When we pay attention to the things, we need to do we can have the satisfaction of a job well done. We won't need to compare ourselves with anyone else.

Counting our Blessings

When we need a turnaround in our lives, why not do what Willie did and count our blessings.

Our Bible verse says, "Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me." Psalm 103:2 NLT

When we remember all of the good things the LORD has done, we will see how blessed we are.

Take Time to Reflect

We spend a lot of time rushing around at this time of the year. We need to find some quiet moments to reflect on what really matters most in life.

Our Bible verses say, "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. And the God of peace will be with you." Philippians 4:8&9 NLT

Today let's take some quiet time to reflect on what is worthy of praise and what matters most in our lives. When we do, we will find the inner peace that only God can give.

Always, Always

As we are getting closer to Thanksgiving it's important to stop and actually think about the many things we have to be thankful for.

Two big things we can be thankful for is the goodness and lovingkindness of the LORD. I'm sure we can think of a whole lot more.

I don't know about you, but I like reminders that God is working behind the scenes. Sometimes we worry, but when we are reminded that God is working behind the scenes it helps.

Our Bible verse says, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." John 8:28 NLT

Let's remember that God is working behind the scenes. He is causing everything to work together for good. Thank you, LORD!
