Inspired by Hope

by Kay Heitsch

It's not about a big start. It's about a faithful finish. ~ Hupomore Quotes ~
Hupomore is a Greek word meaning patience in circumstances, inspired by hope. When we are inspired by hope, our difficult circumstances do not need to get us down.
Our Bible verse says, "Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying." Romans 12:12 NLT
We can have a faithful finish when we are inspired by hope. Let's always rejoice in our confident hope and keep on praying.
It's not about a big start. It's about a faithful finish.

Inertia

by Kay Heitsch

Life leaps like a geyser for those willing to drill through the rock of inertia. ~ Inertia Quotes ~
This week I read an article called "Are you in a rut?" Sometimes we get discouraged in life. We may feel like what we are doing doesn't make a difference.
When this happens, we need to ask the Lord to help us to drill through the rock of inertia. We can ask for a fresh vision and new energy to keep moving forward.
Our Bible verse says, "So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.' Galatians 6:9 NLT
Life leaps like a geyser for those willing to drill through the rock of inertia.

In the Chaos

by Kay Heitsch

Trust God in the chaos of the storm. ~ Trust God When You are Afraid Quotes ~
Everyone experiences the feeling of fear in the chaos of the storms of life. What's important is what we do when we feel afraid.
Our Bible verse today tells us what to do. "But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You." Psalm 56:3 NLT
When we feel afraid the best thing we can do is to put our trust in God.
Trust God in the chaos of the storm.

Surely

 by Kay Heitsch

Look for God's blessing in all situations. ~ Look for God's Blessings Quotes ~
We take so much for granted. If we actually looked for the blessings we are given each day we would be amazed.
Our Bible verse says, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life..." Psalm 23:6 ESV
The word surely is used to emphasize the speaker's firm belief that what they are saying is true and often their surprise that there is any doubt of this.
When the Lord is our shepherd, let there be no doubt that His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives.
Look for God's blessings in all situations.

You will be Okay

by Kay Heitsch

Be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next, but know that whatever it is, you will be okay. ~ Overflow with Hope Quotes ~
Uncertain times and not knowing what might come next can be stressful. However, we can help ourselves by putting all of our trust in the LORD. When we do, we know for sure that we will be okay.
Our Bible verse says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 NIV
As we put all of our hope in God, He will fill us with joy and peace as we trust in Him. We can actually overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next, but know that whatever it is, you will be okay.

In its Time

by Kay Heitsch

"Faith is trusting God even when you don't understand." ~Keep Trusting God Quotes ~
There are many things we do not understand. Faith is trusting God even when we don't understand.
Our Bible verse says, "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end." Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT
God has made everything beautiful in its time. We cannot see the whole scope of what God is doing. However, we look forward to heaven where we will see how God made everything beautiful in its time.
Faith is trusting God even when you don't understand.

As for Me

by Kay Heitsch

Life isn't always a matter of holding good cards. It's a matter of playing a poor hand well. Never give up! Keep your hope in God.
How we live our lives is a personal matter. Not everyone will understand, but that's okay. Life may have dealt us a poor hand. However, if we keep our hope in God, He can help us to play a poor hand well.
Our Bible verse says, "But as for me, I will hope continually. And will praise You yet more and more." Psalm71:14 NASB
But as for me, I've made up my mind to hope continually. I will praise the LORD more and more.
Life isn't always a matter of holding good cards. It's a matter of playing a poor hand well. Never give up! Keep your hope in God.
