Our Bible verse says, "Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other." Romans 12:10 NLT

If we actually took delight to honor each other we would be showing love and kindness. Matthew says, "Freely you have received; freely give."

Kindness is free. Sprinkle that stuff everywhere.

Blessing In Disguise

If you would have told me losing well over 1000 pictures on my phone was going to be a blessing in disguise I would have laughed.

When I noticed I had deleted over 1000 pictures instead of the one I thought I had I felt half sick. I told myself to stay calm but I was actually shaking.

Right at that time, my friend, Evy sent me a text. I was happy to hear from her. I told Evy I had just lost over 1000 pictures on my phone and I had been frantically trying to find a recover button but to no avail.

Evy asked what kind of phone I had. In a matter of minutes, she found a site that explained exactly what I should do to recover the pictures. I was very thankful!

This past weekend I have slowly been recovering my lost pictures. Instead of just putting them back on the phone I've been organizing them. I've put some in existing albums and I have even created new albums.

I would have never thought at the time losing these pictures would be a blessing in disguise but it has been. Organizing these pictures was long overdue.

Weather Forecast

No matter what storms in life we go through we know that Jesus can bring blessings out of them.

When we go through adversity let's look for the showers of blessings that are coming our way.

Bounce Back

Everyone deals with difficulties. It's how you bounce back that counts. Rise Up Quotes

We all have been through difficulties. It's not the difficulty that matters. It's how high we can bounce back. We can grow stronger by going through these situations.

The palm tree is a perfect example. During a storm, they may bend almost to the ground but they bounce back up. Their root system actually becomes stronger by all the bending it goes through.

Our Bible verse says, "But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon." Psalm 92:12 NLT

Like the palm tree, we can flourish and grow stronger in the storms of life.

Stay Cheerful

If we have happiness, inner peace, health, and kindness we certainly will stay cheerful no matter what life brings.

This morning I did something I didn't want or mean to do. I  accidentally deleted over 1000 pictures from my phone. I tried to recover them by myself without success. I sent a text to a friend and she helped me find a way to recover them.

Our Bible verse says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength." Proverbs 17:22

I knew if I got upset it was going to sap my strength. I sure didn't want that! I was so happy I stayed somewhat calm :D and had a friend who is cool and showed me kindness.

Happiness is the new rich, Inner peace is the new success, Health is the new wealth. Kindness is the new cool.

Make It Count

Our Bible verse says, Pay careful attention, then, to how you live, not as unwise but as wise. Make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 &16

We need to pay careful attention to how we live. It's easy to get caught up in the negative things going on in the world today. Life is too short to not look for opportunities to make this day count for something good!

I love how this verse says, "And be sure of this..." We can be sure that the LORD is with us always. He will be until the very end. When we have the LORD with us we can make the most of the rest of our life.
