We are all going through situations that we may not talk about. But it's essential to hold on, stay strong, have faith, trust God, keep believing, and never lose hope.

Our Bible verse says. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

What happens when we believe in the God of hope? We are filled with joy and peace and abound in hope! What a way to live!

Remember What God Has Done

One way to remember what God has done for us and in us and what we expect Him to do in the future is to share our stories.

When uncertain, I reflect on how much God has helped me throughout my journey. I've written things down and shared them with others. Thinking and sharing help me remember.

Our Bible verse says. I will thank the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1

Thinking back on all the LORD's wonderful deeds will help us remember what He has done for us as we tell others.

Remember what God has done for you, what God has done in you, and what God will do for you.

You Are Loved

When we know we are loved, it helps us to feel strong, encouraged, and inspired. People must understand that God loves them. Once we know this, we can love others and ourselves.

Years ago, after I began my relationship with the Lord, I wanted to write. I didn't know what to write about and asked the Lord what I should tell people. What came to my mind was fascinating. Tell people I love them.

Years later, I can see why this thought came to my mind. Because when people accept God's love for them, everything changes.

Our Bible verse says. We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 NIV

When we accept God's love, we love others. His love changes everything.

Be strong, encouraged, empowered, and inspired. God loves you!

Negative Distractions

Many negative distractions are coming from all directions. If we want to live the life Jesus died to give us, we can't allow these distractions to get inside of us. We don't have time for it!

Our Bible verse says. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Psalm 4:23 NIV

We give away our power when we don't guard our hearts. We can't allow these negative distractions to get inside of us.

Are You Peaceful?

This morning, I filled out an anonymous, lengthy survey from Medicare. One question got my attention: Are you peaceful? I could select. All the time? Most of the time? And so on. I wanted to check All the time, but that would not be true. I had to check Most of the time.

I'll admit I don't always protect my peace. I usually pay with some health upset when I don't, so I try to protect my peace.

Our Bible verse says. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid. John 14:27

I repeat this verse at times when I feel tensions rising. It helps me protect my peace when I use it. I'm thankful Jesus has given us His gift of peace.

Medicine

Health does not always come from pills. Joy, peace, love, food, sleep, water, exercise, sunshine, and other natural remedies are all medicines that help us stay healthy.

Our Bible verse says. A joyful heart is good medicine, but depression drains one's strength. Proverbs 17:22 GWT

One good medicine the Bible talks about is being joyful. When we are depressed, this drains our strength. Anyone who has been depressed can relate to this. Let's do our part to try to stay healthy!

How To Be Blessed

There's our answer. We are blessed to be a blessing. We tend to be happier when we take our minds off of ourselves and think about what we can do for someone else.

Our Bible verse says. The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped. Proverbs 11:25 MSG

I love the Bible! It shows us how to have a great life right here on earth. When we bless others, we are blessed; when we help others, we are helped.

We should not do things because we want to gain something. But we will be blessed in return if we do things with the right motives.

When God When?

I don't know how often I've asked, "When God when?" as I've waited for answers to my prayers. I've had to learn trusting God is essential even when my circumstances have not changed. Faith in God includes faith in His timing.

Our Bible verses say. There is a time for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1 Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. Psalm 27:14

God has a time for everything. Our part is to be brave and courageous as we wait patiently for His perfect timing.

Powerful Effect

Prayer is powerful, but it shouldn't be the last resort. People often say, "Well, I've done everything I can, so I guess I'll pray." It's funny how we think at times.

I met the author, Joseph F. Girzone, of the book Joshua. He signed my book with the word "Peace." When he shook my hand, he said, "Please pray for me." I thought that was interesting at the time. But what more could we want from others than for them to pray for us?

Our Bible verse says, Pray for each other...the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Our prayers do have a powerful effect! We need to pray for each other. So please pray for me, and I will pray for you.

Believe Love Faith

We have everything when we believe, love, and have faith. No matter what comes our way, we have whatever we need as we live in a relationship with Jesus.

We don't know what the future holds. But when we live by faith, we stay strong, knowing we can do all things through Christ as we walk in love.

No Matter What!

We are living in a time when we must fix our focus on Jesus to keep our faith. To run our race with endurance, we must feed our faith by focusing on what is good.

This Bible verse was the first verse I wrote in my Bible. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. Hebrews 12:1&2.

If we want to keep our faith strong and run the race set before us with endurance, we must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus! I truly believe this!

Esther wondered why, too. But it became clear why she was born when she was. God had a job for her, and God has things for us to do, too.

Be Confident Of This

We are all special and unique. No one is exactly like you. God has a plan for us and has given us gifts and talents. We do not need to compare ourselves to anyone else. We are no better or worse.

Our Bible verse says, "I am confident of this, that the One who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 NAB

We can be confident that God, who began a good work in us, will continue to work with us throughout our lives. None of us have arrived, but we will be complete when Christ Jesus returns.

I Remain Confident
