Our Bible verses say. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

All things are not good! That's a fact. But God can cause everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called. Remember this!

It's Time To Toughen Up!

This is my message today! If it's not for you, fine, but it is for me!

We all experience challenging situations in our lives! We can have a pity party, but let's face it, no one will be there except you and your negative thoughts. It's time to toughen up!

Our Bible verse says. I have told you this so you will have peace by being united with me. In this world, you will have trouble. But be brave! I have defeated the world!" John 16:33

This says we will have, not you might have. So when we have trouble, what should we do? This says, "Be brave!" I say, "Toughen up!" We'll feel better if we do.

It's A Choice

Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. ~ Inspirational Quotes ~

Every morning, I walk on the treadmill bright and early. I have a plaque on the dresser in the bedroom where the treadmill is. It reads, "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." This is a reminder that no matter how I feel, I can rejoice and be glad in this day.

Every day, we have a choice of how we will live the day. We can wait, see how we feel, or deliberately choose to rejoice and be glad because this is the day the Lord has made.

Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy.

Three Little Words

The first 3 little words I highlighted in my Bible were, "What is truth?" John 18:38 I always turned to this verse. Every day, I prayed and opened my Bible. I would say, "Yes, this is what I want to know."

I needed to learn and unlearn many things to find the truth I was looking for. This didn't happen overnight, but my eyes were opened slowly, and I found more freedom.

The more I understood, the more I wanted to live the life Jesus died to give me. I didn't feel rotten about myself, but I wanted to give up some wrong mindsets to live this life. It was a want to, not a have to, if you know what I mean.

We all have been taught different things in life. If you grew up in a legalistic background, there may be things you need to learn and unlearn with the help of the Holy Spirit to set you free.

Our Bible verse says. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John 8:32 NIV

I love this verse because it has proven true in my life. The truth has set me free! I highly recommend it!
