God Will Finish What He Started. ~ Inspirational Quotes ~

This morning I was watching the coronation of King Charles III. It was a beautiful ceremony. One verse stood out to me as I listened to the Bible readings. I chose it for today's text.

Here's the verse, "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." Philippians 1:6 NLT

God has begun a good work in all of us, not only King Charles lll. God has a good plan for every one of us. I love that God will continue to work with us until His work is finally finished when Jesus returns. We are a work in progress!

God will finish what He started.

Now That's A Fact!

When we go through difficult times, and we all do, it sure helps to look for something good. But, as this quote says, we may have to look a little harder sometimes.

Our Bible verse says, "I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living." Psalm 27:13 NASB

Yup, I would have despaired many times unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the LORD right here on earth! Now that's a fact!

Keep Stillness Inside

When we are in stressful situations, letting the chaos get to us is easy. But if we can keep stillness inside, we can have peace in the middle of the chaos.

Our Bible verse says, "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

When we know God, and He is with us, we can quiet ourselves down and have peace.

In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you.

Praise Him In The Storm

The greater your knowledge of the goodness and grace of God in your life, the more likely you are to praise Him in the storm. ~ Ever-Present Help Quotes ~

When we have been through difficult situations and have seen God's goodness and grace for ourselves, we are more likely to praise Him in the storm.

I remember singing while going through hell with tears running down my face. Why? Because I knew God would give me the strength to continue. I had seen God's goodness and grace and knew He would bring something good out of whatever hell I was going through.

Our Bible verse says, "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble." Psalm 46:1

When we understand that God is our refuge and strength, we know He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

The greater your knowledge of the goodness and grace of God in your life, the more likely you are to praise Him in the storm.

I Will Not Live In Fear

After Todd died in a car accident, I had people ask me how I would feel when Shannon and Brandon wanted to start driving. Did I think I would fear something terrible would happen to them too?

It's interesting the questions people ask. Each question caused me to think and reflect on how the LORD had helped me.

Todd dying was a terrible tragedy! But I saw how the LORD brought good out of it. I saw He cared for me and helped me through this horrible situation. I was determined I would not live in fear that the same fate would happen to our other children.

The text, "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them." Psalm 112:7

When I read this verse, I knew I wanted to make it a reality in my everyday life. I understand how stress has caused me to have health issues. With the LORD's help, I wanted to consider how He cared for me throughout the journey. I didn't want to fear bad news.

Bad things happen to everybody! It's a fact of life! But we know we do not need to live in fear when we trust the LORD to care for us and bring something good out of every bad thing that happens in our lives.

Wow, What A Way To Live

We all go through trying times. But, unfortunately, it's easy to let fear grip our hearts when bad things happen. Negative thoughts will come to our minds, but we don't need to dwell on them. We can let our faith be stronger than our fear when we trust the LORD.

Our Bible verse says, "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them." Psalm 112:7 NLT

When we put our confidence in the LORD to care for us, we do not need to fear bad news. Wow! What a way to live!

I Want These Qualities In My Life!

We all go through difficult times. Life can be challenging! When we go through difficult times, having a kind heart, wise mind, brave spirit, and bold faith will certainly help!

Our Bible verse says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

I don't know about you, but I want to be strong and courageous. I don't want to be afraid or discouraged when life happens and give up! When we remember that the LORD our God is with us, we can rise above the storms in life and find the sunshine!

Personally, I want these qualities in my life! Kind Heart. Wise Mind. Brave Spirit. Bold Faith.
