When we place our complete faith and trust in what Jesus has done for us on the cross, we will have peace with God. We are made right with God because of our personal relationship with Jesus. Jesus is our righteousness. He has made us right with God.
Our Bible verse says. Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Romans 5:1 NLT
We are made right with God, and we have peace because of what Jesus has done for us! Once we understand this, we can have perfect peace. Peace is a fruit of God's Spirit living in us.
