We all know that whatever we feed grows. If we want to have a productive life, we need to go on a faith diet. We can't feed negative thoughts and expect to have a positive life.

What would happen if every time a doubtful, negative thought crept into our minds, we canceled it out with a faith thought? Let's pay attention to what we feed.

Christ will give us the strength to think faith thoughts. He will help us to live the abundant life He died to give us. Please go on a faith diet and live the life you were created for.

Stop Overthinking

It's not easy at times to stop overthinking. But if we want peace in our lives, we have to trust God and surrender all our worries and cares to Him.

Our Bible verse says. When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. Psalm 94:18

I think we know when we are overthinking, or our foot is slipping, so to speak. When we tell the LORD, His unfailing love will support us. Handing our worries and cares to Him will give us peace.

Stop overthinking, God will provide peace when you trust in Him and surrender all your worries to His care.

Little Things

Hope

On days when we may feel sad or troubled, we only need to put our hope in God and once again praise Him! YAY!

The Only Connection

Prayer may be the only connection we have with some people. That's okay! We don't need to be in close connection to people to pray for them. We can't change someone's heart. Only God can. We don't know what someone else may need.

We are to pray for each other, whether or not we have a connection with them. If we have a connection, how much better! Please pray for me, whether or not we are connected. Thanks!

It's wonderful to know that we are never too old, too bad, or too late to start over. Every day is a new day, and with God's help, we can become all that God wants us to be.

We sat in on an online court case this morning. This was very personal to our family. Despite all of the emotions this entails, I pray that the person involved has a new beginning in life.

I pray this man gives his life to Christ and becomes a new person. We all can do this. We all can begin again when we turn our lives over to Christ.

Look For The Good

I wonder what would have happened to me had I not found Dr. Peale's books that taught me to look for the positive in every day.

I didn't know that looking for God's goodness was something I was supposed to do.

Our Bible verse really caught my attention years ago. "I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living." Psalm 27:14

I sure would have despaired had I not believed I would see God's goodness right here on earth. Looking for something positive makes all the difference.

Don't Let Loss Be Your Location

When the Holy Spirit lives in us, we have the power to rise above anything that comes against us. His power in us will help us not to let loss be our location. We can rise above it and move forward.

We have the Spirit of God living in us! There is nothing that can hold us down. We can mourn our losses, but we don't have to allow the loss to be our location.

In God's Hands

I remember well walking down a country road, talking to God about my problems. I would put my hands out in front of me like I was handing God my problems.

For some reason, I would have a hard time putting my hands back down. I wanted God to take care of my problems, but I couldn't seem to let them go.

Our Bible verse says. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

If we really want the peace that Jesus has given us, we have to put our problems in His hands and not let our hearts be troubled or afraid.

When we put our problems in God's hands, He puts His peace in our hearts.

Shine On Me

When the Lord's face shines on us, He is blessing, protecting, being gracious, showing us favor, and giving us peace. What more could we want?

It's comforting to know that God's loving eye is on us. He will teach us and counsel us, showing us the best path.

Are We Listening?

Before I understood it, God was speaking to me. As I look back, I see how God was guiding and directing me. He knew what was going to happen in my life, and He wanted to bring good out of it.

I did not know God, but I felt compelled to do certain things, like go to the library and pick up Dr. Peale's books. I felt an urgency to read and type out tips. I knew deep down something was up.

Our Bible verse says. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 NIV

God was instructing me and teaching me in the way I should go. Even though I didn't know Him at the time, His loving eye was on me. God's loving eye is on each of us.

God is speaking to you! Pay attention and act. You'll be glad you did.

Pallbearers Of Your Happiness

I love this verse! When we confidently trust the LORD to take care of us, we do not need to fear bad news. We can keep happy with a positive attitude.
