What a comforting thought to ask God to blanket our hearts with peace and give us strength for today. What more could we want.

Our Bible verse says. The LORD gives His people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. Psalm 29:11 NIV

The LORD gives us strength and blesses us with peace. These are two things we need, especially at this time of year. We need to ask God for them.

Dear God, please blanket my heart with Your peace and give me strength for today.

Stress Less

It's easy to get stressed out this time of year. There's always something that needs to be done. I've learned the hard way that stress is not my friend. So, this year, I'm going to stress less, do my best, and forget the rest.

Our Bible verse says. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Jesus has given us His peace! It's up to us not to let our hearts be troubled and not to live in fear. Whatever needs to get done will. If it didn't, it just didn't need to be done.

Don't stress. Do your best and forget the rest.

Go With The Flow

When we accept the attitude of going with the flow, we can see that our setbacks may be detours that help us reach our purpose in life. We must have faith, be adaptable, keep learning, and never give up.

Our Bible verse says. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT

We can go with the flow when we know God causes everything to work together for good! God has a purpose for our lives, and even our setbacks are a way for God to show up strong!

There is no need to rush. Go with the flow, have faith, be adaptable, always keep learning, and never give up.
